Opened in Winter of 1999, Nassau Suffolk Crematory’s Mother Teresa Chapel will complete the offerings of our crematory. A modern, contemporary building, the 2100-square foot chapel will seat 250 people. It will have vaulted ceilings, beautiful stained-glass windows and a breathtaking bronze statue of Mother Teresa. It will house a state-of-the-art sound system so families can incorporate their musical selections into any service.
Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity, which now operates schools, hospitals, orphanages, and food centers in more than 25 countries. In her spirit, our Mother Teresa Chapel at Nassau Suffolk Crematory will provide comfort to those in need.
